Vivian Wilson, the daughter of tech billionaire Elon Musk, stepped confidently into the spotlight Thursday night at a ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ event in New York City.
Vivian, who legally changed her name and cut ties with dad Elon in 2022, showed up to the party at Gitano in full force. Whipping her hair, dancing freely, and cat-walking through the crowd.
Attendees said to TMZ she was met with cheers and applause as she strutted and danced among guests, embodying the inclusive spirit of the drag scene. “She was in her element,” said one partygoer. “The room loved her energy — she really brought it.”
The appearance marks a rare public moment for Vivian, 20, who has mostly stayed out of the spotlight despite being the child of one of the most talked-about figures in the world.

Thursday night made it clear that she’s charting her own path. Her appearance comes amid ongoing estrangement from her father, who has been outspoken in his criticism of gender-affirming care and broader LGBTQ+ issues.
In a 2023 interview with the Daily Wire, Musk repeated a controversial claim he had previously made online.
“The woke mind virus killed my son.” He originally posted the phrase on X (formerly Twitter) in reference to Vivian’s transition and identity.
Vivian, for her part, has pushed back on Elon’s characterizations.
She has publicly accused him of being an absent father and criticizing how he treated her for being queer.
“He berated me for being who I am,” she reportedly told friends, according to sources close to the family.
While Elon has increasingly aligned himself with right-wing political voices, including voicing support for Donald Trump’s agenda, Vivian appears to be surrounding herself with a very different crowd.
Her presence at a ‘Drag Race All Stars’ event is a symbol of rebellion against her father.
As one fan put it on social media: “Vivian Wilson dancing at a drag party while Elon rants about the ‘woke mind virus’ is the kind of energy we need right now.”
