President Donald Trump on Sunday called Kentucky GOP Rep. Thomas Massie a “third rate congressman” who has to be thrown out of office.

Trump proceeded to call Massie the worst Republican in history.
The GOP primary election for the 4th Congressional District is May 19 and its between incumbent Massie and Ed Gallrein, who has been endorsed by Trump.
According to Axios, the primary race between Massie and Gallrein is the most expensive U.S. House primary in history.

Last week, multiple independent influencers and commentators on X went to Kentucky to campaign for Massie.
Trump praised Gallrein in his TRUTH Social post and reinforced his endorsement of him.
“The Great People of Kentucky are wise to Massie — He only votes against the Republican Party, making life very easy for the Radical Left,” his post concluded. “Unlike “lightweight” Massie, a totally ineffective LOSER who has failed us so badly, CAPTAIN ED GALLREIN IS A WINNER WHO WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. Election Day is Tuesday, May 19th. VOTE FOR ED GALLREIN — HE HAS MY COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT.”
