The beginning of June has arrived and summer is on its way; here’s what the latest approval rating polls for President Donald Trump are showing.
Recent headlines include Trump’s promises to hit Iran “very hard” on Thursday night, June 11, taking full control of the nation’s oil and gas industry, his recent executive order, which affects mail-in voting nationwide, his unusual comments around inflation and more.
As of early June, Trump has just over half of his second term left in office. Here’s where approval polls stand on Trump, plus South Carolinians’ opinions and more.
Recent polls found the following on Trump’s approval rating:
According to polling site Civiqs, Trump’s approval rating in the Palmetto State has remained pretty even over the last few months after a slow decline since the start of his second, and last, term in office.
In January, his approval sat at 49%, with a corresponding 47% disapproval rating. That flipped in February, with a 49% disapproval rating and a 46% approval rating.
Now, in June, Civiqs polls show a 50% disapproval rating and a 45% approval rating, with 6% of pollers not approving or disapproving of his work in office. Remaining constant from April approval polls in the state.
According to results from now-defunct polling website FiveThirtyEight, Trump had a final approval rating of 34% when he left office in 2021. His approval average during his first term was 41%.
