WASHINGTON (TNND) — President Donald Trump’s approval rating continues to plummet as the Iran war continues and prices increase.
According to The Economist, Trump’s net approval rating is at negative 25%.
This poll comes amid the Iran war and increased gasoline prices.
The Economist states that Trump has a net negative 43% approval rating on inflation and prices.
His approval rating is better regarding immigration and jobs.
Trump has constantly emphasized the importance of Iran not having a nuclear weapon amid the war.
Last month, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that gas prices should come down in the coming weeks or months.
“We are cognizant that this short-term blip up in prices is affecting the American people, but I am also confident, on the other side of this, prices are gonna come down very quickly,” he said during an interview on Fox News. “The conflict will end.”
