Mazzei is a Republican candidate for governor, a crowded field with Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond, Chip Keating, Jennifer Domenico-Tillet, Charles McCall, Jake Merick, Leisa Mitchell Haynes, Kenneth Sturgell and Calup Anthony Taylor vying for the party’s nomination.
Mazzei took to social media to thank Trump for his backing on Friday.

The Oklahoma Primary Election is set for June 16.
