According to new data released today by The National Federation of Independent Business, small businesses throughout America continue to suffer under Donald Trump and his cost-spiking Republicans. With everything — from food and utilities to gas and building materials — becoming more expensive under Trump, the share of small businesses who plan to raise their prices has hit the highest level in years. In fact, more than a third of small business owners reported raising prices last month, the highest since 2023. Additionally, the share of small business owners who plan to invest in their communities by creating new jobs fell to the lowest level in six years. While Main Street is suffering and left to fight for scraps, Wall Street and billionaires continue to rack up handouts from the Trump administration.
