Trump's concerning AI nuclear launch button post sparks impeachment calls – Daily Express US
On Sunday, thousands gathered on the National Mall for a prayer rally, yet despite having endorsed the Rededicate 250 event, the president was notably absent. Instead, attendees viewed previously recorded footage of Trump reading Scripture from a marathon Bible-reading session held last month.
While speakers honored Christianity’s role in American history, the president appeared preoccupied with two of his preferred pastimes – playing golf and sharing outlandish AI-created content on social media.
One posted image featured Trump gazing wistfully at his younger self with the text “Same guy. Even more energy now!” Another showed him gesturing in Uncle Sam fashion, sporting a MAGA hat and polo shirt at his Florida golf property, captioned “We made America Great Again!”
An additional image portrayed Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and Nancy Pelosi immersed in “sewage” at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Several others targeted Gavin Newsom.

One more picture displayed Trump in sunglasses flanked by American flags with eagles positioned behind him. Among the fabricated visuals was a depiction of empty oil tankers approaching the Statue of Liberty. His social media activity took a disturbing direction when he posted three AI-generated videos showing himself commanding a US naval vessel destroying an Iranian drone. The president escalated further by sharing multiple artificial intelligence-created images portraying him initiating a nuclear strike from orbit.
The images were captioned “Space Force”. The content triggered demands for his removal from the presidency, with detractors arguing he must be “seriously ill.
“Donald Trump spent the weekend showing off strange AI images. Here he is directing a nuclear war from a space station…get rid of the old man, he’s seriously ill,” one X user wrote.
“Gleefully threatening to nuke any place on the globe. What else could symbolize freedom, democracy and wellbeing better. Trump has shattered the ideals of the USA for decades. Or less charitably, he has revealed what always was behind the facade,” a second commented.
“Get this deviled egg head out of there! EMBARRASSING,” a third demanded. “A President who thinks like this needs to be impeached and removed from office! This is NOT a video game,” a fourth declared. “Trump is once again threatening a nuclear genocide Impeach and convict this deranged narcissistic fool!” another echoed. “The old man has lost it. Time to put him in a home,” someone else wrote.
The unusual posts continued, as Trump also shared an image depicting himself strolling alongside a naked alien and Secret Service agents at what appeared to be a military installation.
