President Donald Trump brutally slammed the critics of his proposed deal with Iran, which irked conservatives.
On June 19, Fox News reshared President Trump's Truth Social post. The post stemmed from the criticism aimed at his proposed peace deal with Iran. He claimed that the Democrats were displeased with his new Iran deal. He also indicated that his rivals believed the Middle Eastern country was better off now after the war, due to his deal.
Trump dissed, "How stupid can some people be?" This came after the same network released a new poll showing that most Americans have an unfavorable view of the economy, just months before the November midterms.
Trump wrote, "The war has diminished Iran! It doesn't any longer, have an Air Force, a Navy, anti-aircraft equipment, radar or practically anything else. And yet, Dumocrats say that Iran is better off now than it was four months ago," he added before brutally mocking, "Can you imagine getting away with that? How stupid can some people be?"
Viewers took to social media to slam Trump's comments, arguing that his new agreement included a $300 billion fund designated for postwar reconstruction for Iran.

One person fumed, "Trump is quite the stupidest leader this country has ever seen by light years! Would one of your reporters ask him how the reflection pool restoration is working out?"
Another person added, "Seems Trump is the stupid one. Iran's the one walking away with reparation money."
A third wrote, "How stupid can some people be?" Stupid enough to spend $100B, pay the enemy $300B, leave their nuclear program intact, gas price still $1 more than before the war.. and call it a win."

Despite the criticism, Trump still had a supporter who defended him and shared, "Iran lost its air force capabilities, navy assets & radar network in the conflict. Deal ends the war, reopens the Strait for global oil & sets up 60-day nuclear talks. Trump played it perfectly."
Trump signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) during his visit to France on June 17. The agreement was then subsequently signed by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian the following day.
The MOU appeared to offer sweeping concessions that surpass the terms of Iran's 2015 nuclear agreement with world powers.

Trump pulled America out of that Obama-era accord during his first term, blasting it as the "worst deal ever."
While facing sharp criticism, the deal has already hit a significant roadblock. Talks between the U.S. and Iran were abandoned on June 19, following intense fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, three officials confirmed.
After Iranian officials failed to travel as scheduled to Switzerland, Vice President JD Vance, 41, also scrapped his planned trip.
