Last Saturday, April 25, Donald Trump suffered another assassination attempt. On this occasion, the US president had to be evacuated from the Hilton hotel when, during the annual dinner of the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA), an armed man broke in and forced the Secret Service to remove the leader, the first lady and his senior officials from the premises. Elon Musk, who is sympathetic to Trump’s political ideas and who during the first months of his presidency held an official position, has used his social media platform to speak out about the attempted assassination of Trump. Specifically, the Tesla owner has used X, also owned by him, and has harshly attacked the political left in the United States to criticize what happened at last weekend’s event
“If they are willing to die to murder, imagine what they will do if they get political power,” Elon Musk wrote in a message that in just a few hours already has more than 430,000 ‘likes’ and thousands of reactions for and against Donald Trump and his political ideas.
“That’s how everyone knows it’s fake. You intervene with stupid propaganda instead of trying to calm things down. Keep lighting the fuses, but don’t be surprised when it all blows up in your face,” responds a user, Anonymous, to the mogul’s reflection.
Tim Hannan, on the other hand, reminds Elon Musk of his connection to Donald Trump and the latter’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein. “You paid several hundred million dollars to elect a pedophile with whom you had a dispute after three months. Maybe you should take a break from politics,” this user on X argues
